Horizon Therapy services are able to complete workstation ergonomic assessments to reduce the risk of workplace injuries and to modify workstations to take into consideration a pre existing medical condition. We have different types of workstation assessment packages to suit your budget and needs.
Workstation Assessment
GROUP TRAINING
‘A Healthy Workstation’ package consists of one hour of training with staff via a group presentation. Our Occupational Therapist will educate individuals on how to keep a healthy workstation to prevent discomfort and long term injury by sitting at a desk for long periods by giving tips and tricks
We encourage individuals to take notes throughout and collect the information sheet at the end to enable them to assess their own workstation independently following the group training.
There is a max of 20 people for each group training.

EXPRESS WORKSTATION ASSESSMENT WITH A VERBAL HANDOVER
Our express workstation assessments comprise of a one on one with the individual.
Adjustments to the workstation environment will be carried out as required with a verbal handover and verbal recommendations of products. The express workstation assessment is suitable if you are after a quick check up with a professional.
If you are in pain due to a medical condition or worried about long term effects of seating posture we reccommend the comprehensive workstation assessment.
COMPREHENSIVE WORKSTATION ASSESSMENT AND REPORT
Comprehensive workstation assessments is an assessment with the individual of his or her workstation. Relevant job requirements and previous medical history will be recorded followed by measurments and adjustments of office furniture throughout the assessment to establish a custom workstation setup for the individual. If new equipment is needed to achieve the appropriate healthy workstation we will locate required products and provide a quotation for you which is added to the end of the report for your convenience.
