Speech Pathologists at Horizon work with people who have had a stroke, neurologically based conditions such as Parkinsons and muscular degenerative conditions which affect communication and swallowing. We work with and in hospitals and nursing homes and can also offer educative sessions to families, staff, carers and client related organizations. Specialised therapy, advice, recommendations and strategies regarding the best way to help recover and support communication and/or swallowing impairments is available.
